In today's world, you will find yourself being compensated not by how hard you work but by how much value you add to the World around you. True?
Think about it. Let's say if you are currently being paid $20 an hour, this money is being given to you not because you showed up at your desk for those sixty minutes but because you have added that much worth of monetary value during those sixty minutes. It is the monetary reward you receive that is determined by not how much you work but by how much value you add.
This is why a brain surgeon is paid so much more than a Mc Donald's employee. Is the brain surgeon a better person? or a harder worker? or a smarter person? Not necessary. But one thing is certain is that the brain surgeon has accumulated more specialized knowledge and specific know-hows than the Mc Donald's employee.
There are very few people who can do what the brain surgeon does and as a result, he is percieved as a more valuable person in the marketplace. This is why the brain surgeon is paid over 20 times more then the person who flips burgers.
Money simply becomes a symbol for how much value each person has added to this World.
Money simply becomes a symbol for how much value each person has added to this World.
So, to be paid more money in your work/business, you must add more value to the World and the best way to begin adding more value to the World is to start becoming a more valuable person. Acheive the skills no one else has or can. Read the books no one else is reading. Think the thoughts no else is thinking.
Stand out and shine like a Star!
One thing is certain here, you cannot have all that you want if you remain the person you are.
"Winners don't do different things, they do things differently."
To achieve more, you need to contribute more!

Good Post. Just one thing
"Acheive the skills no one else has or can. Read the books no one else is reading."
Even by having a skill others have and reading books others read, you can still choose to be different. Afterall its the "extra" that separates ordinary from extraordinary.
And "Thinking the Thoughts no one else is Thinking ".
If we start monitoring our thoughts based on the fact that someone else was thinking the same, compelling us to think differently, that wouldnt really serve much purpose. But to pick up from ordinary thoughts and to walk the extra mile, is the path to being unique in our thoughts.
Keep it up.
I LOVED this! Keep it up, I'll come back for sure.
